No one of us live by ourselves. Our lives are deeply joint with one another. However, sadly, we are all imperfect. The result is that we live in separation from one another.
Why is this so? The reason is that we live in separation with God, the Creator of our lives. The relationship we have with God is a vertically upward one, and the relationship with fellow human beings a lateral one. When both these relationships are beautifully woven together, our lives are complete. Both these relationships are important. However, if our relationship with God is broken, even if we have good relationship with others, our lives will still not be complete.
The link that restores our relationship with God is the cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus so loved that world that He gave His life on the cross. When we know & believe in this love, we have the key to happiness.
The place where broken human relationships are restored, where fruitful lives are spent together, where joy is woven together is the church. Will you also join us in this pursuit?
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34
